Once in this lane, Aarambh is the third big bungalow on the left.) – Map below in footer
(When you visit, we would request you to park your car on the main road outside the school lane, since we are trying to minimise the cars that enter this lane. Thank you for understanding.)
Aarambh is a Waldorf school based on Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy. The school’s mantra is “Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love, and send them forth in freedom.” Each child is treated as a unique being, lovingly taught through play based and experiential learning with the belief that one day s/he will bloom into a well balanced, creative and humane individual. Aarambh winter fair is a unique family event. Time slows down, the winter sun radiates mellow golden light and the fun begins. Come and connect with your child, engage in Waldorf related activities, listen to magical stories, sing at the top of your voice and maybe do a jig or two. Sample unusual sweet and savoury treats prepared by the diverse Aarambh community. Live a day in the Waldorf way!
Educating the Child of 21st Century
A Talk for Parents, Teachers and Caregivers
Waldorf school education is not a pedagogical system but an art, the art of awakening what actually is there within the human being. Lets discover this art with Aban Bana and Dilnawaz Bana
Aban Bana is a trained Waldorf teacher and Eurythmist. She is the founder of “Anthroposophical Initiatives in India”, along with her sister Dilnawaz she travels to promote Anthroposphy in India and South Asia. She writes articles and gives talks on subjects related to Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education. She met Anthroposophy almost 40 years ago and has traveled widely to many parts of the world. She worked as a teacher in the Basel Steiner School in Switzerland during the early part of her career and later went on to help in bringing Waldorf Education to India, in the nineties.
