present
Eurythmy performance by the world-renowned Swiss group
Licht Eurythmie Ensemble
The production titled Bhakta Dhruva depicts the story of how the North Star came about and also a comparison of the relationship between human beings and stars in the past and now. An old Indian legendary story will be told in German language by a group of eurythmists from Light Eurythmy Ensemble from Dornach, Switzerland.
The word Eurythmy stems from Greek roots, meaning beautiful or harmonious rhythm. This form of movement is not a dance, nor a mime, but an art of movement, making visible speech and music. Eurythmy uses for its expression the most flexible of all instruments – the human body.
